I wrote this utility because of lacking, reliable mechanisms to transfer Apple ][ ProDOS programs from 5 1/4" disks to the Macintosh. I don't have access to 3 1/2" UniDisk drives.
You'll need a serial card in your Apple //e. Plug a NULL Modem cable from this card into your Macintosh serial port.
So, use your favorite terminal programs (i.e. ZTerm on the Macintosh and ProTerm on the Apple //e.) Upload the file(s) as Binary ][ using XMODEM CRC. Receive the file as XMODEM CRC raw data. Name them whatever you want, but you MUST end the name in either ".bin" or ".b]["
If you use batch send, all the ProDOS files will be stuffed into one file on the Macintosh. Don't worry, EB][ is smart enough to extract them all.
EB][ will make a ProDOS 'DISK' image per encoded Binary ][ file. These are valid disk images. Copy the stuff off and/or re-use them.
This product is completely unsupported. Use at your own risk.

p.s. Don't upload disks using the "disk" option in ProTerm. I couldn't figure out the format. Use ShrinkIt and compress the disk. If it doesn't compress well (i.e. >140K), then I hope you have a RAM card (like a RAM Factor) you can make a RAM drive on...
